Built during the Second World War, the Anderson shelter buried deep beneath this garden in South West London gives us access to a different era, when the bombs falling on London led to so much destruction. Surviving but forgotten for the ensuing decades, we now aim to secure its existence in the long term, with structural works and a room above. Planning consent was granted in Spring 2024.
